Job: HR Generalist
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)
Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday onsite, remote the remainder of the week
Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Duration: Contract through December 2026
Pay Rate: Competitive, DOE
Position Overview:
We are seeking an HR Generalist to support a busy Human Resources Shared Services team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for employees, helping answer questions related to benefits, compensation, HR policies, employee programs, and general workplace resources.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, providing excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, communication, and confidentiality are critical.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee inquiries in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
- Research and resolve questions related to benefits, compensation, HR policies, and employee programs.
- Process and verify Form I-9 documentation to ensure compliance with federal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and support audit readiness efforts.
- Manage and track employee inquiries through HR systems and case management tools.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR teams and follow through to resolution.
- Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications and HR systems to support daily operations.
Requirements / Must Have:
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong customer service and employee support experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in an HR Shared Services environment.
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms.
- Knowledge of benefits administration, compensation, and HR policies.
- Experience processing Form I-9 documentation.
