Location: Los Angeles, Antelope Valley, Lancaster CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5,40, 8,00 AM to 4,30 PM
Assignment Type: Long term contract
Pay Rate: 60.00 to 65.00 hourly
We are partnering with LA County Building and Safety to identify an experienced Building Inspector to support daily field inspections at their office. This is an on-site role that requires a steady hand, sound judgment, and the ability to apply code knowledge with accuracy and consistency.
What you will handle:
- Perform building and safety inspections for residential, commercial, and related structures.
- Verify work for compliance with applicable codes and County standards.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
- Communicate findings clearly with contractors, engineers, and County teams.
- Represent the department with professionalism in the field.
Requirements:
- Active ICC certifications, per contract requirements.
- Valid CA Class C Driver License.
- Background in building inspections, construction, or related disciplines.
